“The design process has been both easy and positive.”
Stockholm-born Mia Lagerman has been a furniture designer for over three decades. With a knack for combining function and aesthetics, Mia creates designs that are honest, playful and timeless. Her creative vision and design heritage are evident in every project she takes on, whether it is mass-produced furniture or experimental craft projects.
Marcel och Omlott – the journey between timelessness
and extravagance.
Marcel is a tribute to Mia’s signature style, where a
harmonious balance between simplicity and elegance is at the center. The series, which includes a table, floor and pendant light, is characterized by clean lines, soft geometric shapes and exclusive details such as goldcolored elements.
Omlott is a glamorous and sculptural collection consisting of a ceiling light and a pendant light that evokes Art Deco with its dramatic shapes and refined details. With a tasteful layered design and a sophisticated combination of dynamism and elegance, the lamp series adds an exclusive dimension to any room.
In Spring collection 2025 By Rydéns is pleased to introduce Marcel and Omlott, two new, distinctive lamp series signed by internationally renowned furniture designer Mia Lagerman. With a unique combination of artistic precision and technical brilliance, these lamp series offer lighting that not only illuminates rooms, but transforms them.
"Not far from idea to action. Product development with the
team at By Rydéns has been trouble-free, and it is often a shorter path to the goal when you can share ideas directly with those who make the decisions. The design process has been both easy and positive, and By Rydéns has been curious and responsive throughout the product development. – Mia Lagerman."
